About Us

A Collaborative Network Focused on Quality

Our Mission: UniNet Healthcare Network is a clinically integrated network (CIN) of independent and employed physicians and advanced practice clinicians, collaborating with hospitals, ancillaries, and post-acute care providers to improve patient outcomes and quality while lowering the overall cost of care. We unite our providers through education, coordination of care, performance review, credentialing, and value-based contracting.

Our vision is to create a healthier population, one person at a time, by offering comprehensive, data-driven, coordinated care.

UniNet chapters in Grand Island, Kearney, Lincoln, and Omaha give providers the opportunity to impact decisions that affect health care in their communities.

What We Do
We serve our more than 2,700 provider members with services including provider credentialing and continuing education, and value-based care contracting with payors. Patient care coordination services help to improve patient outcomes and lower overall medical costs by reducing readmissions, ED visits, and duplicative tests.

New Contract Opportunities
UniNet offers simplified yet innovative ways for providers to contract with payors and government programs.

Experience                                                         Formed in 1998, UniNet has nearly 20 years of experience in clinically integrating provider and hospital groups, managing population health, and negotiating with payors.

Medicare Shared Savings Program
UniNet manages two Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organizations:  Alegent Health Partners and TPN Health Partners.

Managed Medicaid
UniNet partnered with UnitedHealthcare to control cost of the program and has saved  $24 million since 2011.

Employee Health Plan Savings
UniNet's work with CHI Health employees in Omaha resulted in a 33% reduction in imaging spend, 20% average length of stay reduction, 17% reduction in medical spend, and 13% reduction in ED visits.* Our care coordination work has helped patients improve their health outcomes and experience.
